Dear Hiring Manager,
I came across your school through the Jooble site. I decided to inquire about potential employment opportunities at your company. Please accept this resume as my application for any full time position now or in the future. Let me explain how I can contribute to your school.
Currently, I’m seeking employment as an ESL instructor in the Kansai region from October 2022. As a graduate of the University of Florida, I had a chance to explore Japanese language and culture as well as multicultural education in depth. After completing a dual B.A. in Anthropology and Asian studies, I decided to experience Japan firsthand as an ESL teacher. Since 2015, I have lived in Kashiba city in Nara Ken and previously worked in Yao, Osaka for the past 8 years.
I have many years of experience teaching in Japan. I worked at Link English School from 2013/1-2021/1. I worked in a close team with the 4 Japanese teachers to monitor student progression, create original text files, coach the students for the annual speech contests and school events and develop an advanced multimedia system in the classroom. I was responsible for introducing large screen monitors in the classrooms to cast and share information, which greatly enhanced the quality of education and the enjoyment factor at the school. Furthermore, I also led and taught an open house twice a year with up to 130 new students, of which over 95 percent joined our school. I'm looking forward to hearing more about Echolingual school.
