My role was to lead a team of 12 Guest Service, operations staff at a high-end property management company. My primary responsibility was to ensure the smooth function of the team and make sure everyone had the tools to do their job well. I also gained an understanding of the financial side of the business whilst working in the reservations department.

Two-month work placement while I undertook my masters degree. My role was to assist in the delivery of projects, by drafting itineraries and coordinating between stakeholders. I was also required to contribute creatively to company publications.

WURNU is a training establishment which helps to develop British undergraduate students into future leaders. It is connected to the Royal Navy. I took part in seamanship exercises, deployments, leadership training and sporting events.
Hospitality and Food and Drink Industry
I have worked in many hospitality jobs since I was 17, alongside my academic study. This has included waiting and bartending in numerous different venues. From pubs and restaurants, to nightclubs and cocktail bars. I believe this helped to improve my confidence and taught me many important work and life skills.

The course involved semester at the university's campus in Ningbo, China. I also undertook a 9000 word postgraduate dissertation. My primary research focus was on the culture and politics of East and Southeast Asia.
