I came here to Osaka from the Philippines as a Japanese language student at Human Academy Japanese Language School. While studying, I also worked in various part-time jobs. Presently, I work as an English Teacher in different Eikaiwa Schools. I do freelance teaching jobs as well, where I meet students in their free time and hold lessons.
I teach students from different age groups. But the majority of them are from ages 2 to 12. For these students, I try to make sure that they learn something from each class, and more importantly, I want them to have fun and make a lot of memories while learning English. I have experience with team-teaching with Japanese teachers as well.
I genuinely love communicating with people, especially children. I enjoy hearing their stories, such as how their day went or how they received a new toy from their parents. Nothing feels more rewarding than seeing their growth firsthand. When I receive letters from them, I feel joyful and proud that I have made a difference in their lives.
I am motivated by opportunities where I can learn new things or engage with people. I have respect for those in management positions, and I’m always willing to take on greater responsibilities to help out.
As for language proficiency, I have passed the JLPT N2 exam. I also possess a TOEIC score of 960 points and a TESOL certification.
