【Job Description】
”Learn English through play” is our concept at Kids Duo. Kids Duo is a school at which instructors not only teach the language, but also spend time together with the students in English. As a Kids Duo instructor, it is rewarding to see students improve their English, and also encouraging to see them mature with confidence. We welcome applicants who are friendly and enjoy being around kids, as well as applicants who wish to work in Japan using English.
【Daily Schedule】
(1) Meeting with school director and instructors
(2) Lesson preparations
(3) English lessons(songs, coloring, games, snack, worksheets etc)
(4) Sharing with the parents what their child did that day
(5) Attending the bus ride home
(6) Tidying up and cleaning
【Salary】
・Annual salary 3,000,000 yen (converted monthly salary 250,000 yen)
・Pay-rise, bonus paid accordingly
・Transportation reimbursement: Commute of less than 2 kilometers (one way) not covered
【Work hours】
・Work in shifts 9 hours a day including 1 hour break
・Overtime is rare
・During the summer, winter holidays, may be asked to come in at 8:15
【Holidays and Leave】over 120 days off per year
・Weekends and national holidays （Approximately once a month, Kids Duo holds an event at the school at which time instructors are asked to come to work)
・Golden Week / summer holidays / New Years holidays / Paid vacation
・Bereavement leave
Required Qualifications
・Prior teaching experience is not necessary. We welcome applicants who are willing towork long term (over 2 years)
・Native English teacher
・Applicants who like kids and like to be around people
・Applicants who are capable of adapting to the Japanese culture and values
・Applicants who are eager to work as a member of a team alongside other staf
※Japanese language skills are not necessary
