The Research Experience for Undergraduates program was for undergraduates to gain some research exposure with the help of current graduate students. I performed research on detecting COPD and heart failure using machine learning. I was responsible for extensively researching relevant topics, building a Python script to extract features from audio files, and building an effective classifier using machine learning packages within Python.

At K-Rise, I developed ERP web applications using their in-house platform. This involved some integration with different systems such as AWS and JDE. I was also responsible for developing the in-house platform itself. These projects were built in a variety of languages: C#, HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and SQL.

I won the Jesse Voigt Allhands Mathematics Scholarship at Eastern Illinois University. It was reward given to a student that held a high mathematical aptitude.
