I have lived in Japan for 2 years and I'm ready to move on with my career.
Now I'm looking for a job where I can use my skills as experience designer and enrich the communication in Japan through co-creation, gamification and solid marketing work.

English Adventure arranges seasonal camps for children in Japan, allowing them to experience proper American camps, with international staff, speaking English. I was a leader in the winter, teaching the kids how to ski better, and speaking English with them, in order to immerse the kids in English, even though this all takes place in Niigata. We also live and hang out with the kids when they're playing inside, eating and sleeping, each session for 4 days.

As a climbing instructor, I worked with a lot of people with different age and language, adjusting to the needs of the individual, while still managing a group of people. My job was mainly teaching visitors how to use their equipment safely and confidently, before letting them roam the climbing park freely.
This was a seasonal job, and I've worked there for two summers.

I worked as an intern in the Norwegian Scout Association for two months at the end of my studies at Westerdals. There I functioned as a normal employee, helping out with the various projects needing exposure. I worked a lot with Adobe Illustrator and got to use my education in practice.

Memrise had a project in 2016 called "The Membus", where a crew from their offices would travel Europe and film people speaking their native languages to add more value to their smartphone language learning app. During this project, they needed assistants to help out with translations and introductions while making the so called "video dictionaries".
My task was mainly asking Norwegians if they wanted to participate in the project, instructing them on what to do, and later reviewing the film making sure the English translation matched the spoken Norwegian. I also lived with the crew on the bus for the week they had in Norway.
