My name is Jenna Ney and I am a 22 year old American university student. I will graduate in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Japanese Studies. I am a dedicated and energetic individual with a passion for teaching. I have experience teaching English as a foreign language to primary school students. I hope to teach English as a second language abroad, particularly in Japan or Hungary. My interests include traveling, learning languages, cooking, and writing.

As a student manager, I oversaw student employees and ensured that our food service location operated smoothly. I served as a mediator between employees and upper management, relaying issues reported to me and working with upper management to develop solutions to these challenges. During my last year working for Sodexo, I was promoted to the role of Head Student Manager, which gave me the responsibility of creating and managing the work schedule for all student managers and workers.

As an English Teaching Volunteer at Szent Istvan Iskola, I assisted in planning lessons, teaching classes, and holding conversation hours. I worked with three classes of students (6th, 7th, and 8th grade). The focus in all three of these classes was fluency in verbal English skills. Additionally, I taught lessons about American culture and daily life to enrich students' understanding of my home country and the English speaking world.
